Joining Lynden Park Scout Group

In joining Lynden Park Scout Group, a young person becomes a part of a worldwide youth organisation. The scouting movement was founded by Lord Robert Baden-Powell in England in 1907. His book, “Scouting for Boys: A Handbook for Instruction in Good Citizenship” was published in 1908. Now, Scouts (and Guide) groups are represented in 216 countries with over 41 million members worldwide.

Today Lynden Park boasts a large membership of girls and boys from a variety of cultural backgrounds. The diversity of our packs provides a rich learning environment and one where children can continuously build on their strengths.
